New Adapt+ funding programme launched

With Adapt+, the Swiss Confederation, under the leadership of the Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, is providing funding for projects aimed at adapting to climate change. The objective is to disseminate successful approaches and make Switzerland more resilient to the risks of climate change. Project organisers can register as of now and have until the end of August 2025 to submit their applications.

On Tuesday, 5 June 2025, the 2nd "Climate Forum Switzerland - Dealing with Climate Change" will take place at the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern under the theme of “Identifying and Reducing Climate Risks” The event will focus on the new Swiss Climate Risk Analysis, which will be presented for the first time.

How can Switzerland align its financial flows with climate goals?

17.11.2021 – In the report on the postulate by the Council of States Environment Committee, the Federal Council outlines measures that Switzerland can undertake to ensure that its financial flows become climate-friendly. Industry agreements between the financial sector and the federal government can have a particularly positive impact on the climate. Indirectly, increased transparency can also have a positive effect.
