Technical bases
This report describes the structure and methodological criteria of sonBASE. A variety of geographical data are integrated into a homogeneous geographical information system. sonBASE forms the basis for comprehensively monitoring the noise situation and its chronological and spatial development, as well as for providing the general public with detailed information about the ongoing status of noise pollution.
