Climate Change Adaptation Network: news and publications
The network increases effectiveness, opens up opportunities, acts as a catalyst for solutions and creates innovation.
Since 2025, the “Climate Change Adaptation Network” focuses on two challenges: "increasing heat stress" and "more frequent summer droughts". The aim is to work with key stakeholders on a regular basis to share experiences, discuss critical matters, compile best practices and draw up concrete recommendations on urgent enforcement issues.
Publications and News
The “Adaptation Network” regularly develops practical guides to assist planners and decision-makers, and publishes annual activity reports. News are as well regularly published – in German, French and Italian:

Drought – Recommendations for Water Management
The recommendation is directed in particular at the stakeholders responsible for developing the national water management strategy, as well as at decision-makers in the relevant federal agencies and cantons, regional stakeholders, and relevant industry associations, including those representing agriculture and forestry.

Recommendation on the consistent use of Climate Scenarios
The network’s recommendation provides planners and decision-makers with valuable guidance on selecting the “Klima CH2025” climate scenarios.
