Sustained increase in Swiss GDP in 2024
Neuchâtel, 29.09.2025 — Switzerland's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 1.4% in 2024 at the previous year’s prices (price adjusted). These initial estimates from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) were calculated as part of a revision. New data series are available for the period 1995 to 2023. The revision was carried out in conjunction with SECO’s quarterly estimates and in accordance with international practice. It incorporated methodological improvements and new data. The adjustments result in an average increase in GDP of 1.8 percentage points. Swiss GDP at current prices amounted to CHF 854 billion in 2024.
