Constructive Geneva Climate Dialogue

03.09.2010 - High-ranking representatives from 46 countries and the EU met in Geneva on 2 and 3 September 2010 for an informal exchange on the financing of climate action. The dialogue was chaired by Moritz Leuenberger, Swiss Federal Councillor (1995-2010), and Mexican Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa. Both praised the constructive atmosphere at the talks in preparation for the UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun.

Geneva Dialogue aims to point the way for long-term financing of climate action (26.08.2010)
On the invitation of Switzerland and Mexico, representatives from over 40 countries will meet in Geneva on 2 and 3 September 2010 to discuss the long-term financing of climate action. Swiss Federal Councillor Moritz Leuenberger will chair the ministerial meeting along with Mexican Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa.
