All legal texts are available in French, German and Italian. Some key texts have already been translated into English or their translation is in course. Please note that English translations are provided for information purposes only and have no legal force. If an English version of a text exists, the links under the following headings will lead you automatically to it. Otherwise, the link takes you to the German version. To obtain the French and Italian versions, change the language of the page in the upper right hand corner.

6. Access to general legislation

The Systematic Compilation (SR), the Official Compilation (AS) and the Federal Gazette (BBl) are managed by the Federal Chancellery. Please note that, as the SR is not updated on a daily basis, amendments to legislation may not yet have been incorporated.
