Hydrology Division
The Hydrology Division attends to preparing the necessary hydrological basis for sustainable development in Switzerland. The survey unit operates the national measuring network at waterway surfaces and in groundwater with more than 300 measuring stations; it also monitors water quantity and quality. ensures flood forecasts, warnings, and alarms.
