Sectors
Sector Biological Diversity
The Sector Biological Diversity comprises the divisions Biodiversity and Landscape, Soil and Biotechnology, and the Water division.
Sector Climate
The Climate sector comprises the Climate Reporting and Adaptation, Climate Policy, CO2 Compensation and CO2 Tax & Emissions Trading sections.
Sector Circular Economy and Ambient Pollution Level
The Sector Circular Economy and Ambient Pollution Level comprises the divisions Economics and Innovation, Waste and Resources, Air Pollution Control and Chemicals, and Noise and NIR.
Sector Natural Hazards and Forest
The Natural Hazards & Forest Sector comprises the Hazard Prevention, Hydrology and Forest divisions.
Sector Politics
The Politics sector comprises the Political Affairs and EIA & Spatial Planning sections as well as the Legal and International Affairs divisions.
Communication Division
The Division also provides the public, the media and the specialists with information about environmental politics and the state of the environment.
Digital Affairs and Resources Division
The division is responsible for cross-sectional and support functions at the FOEN. It is made up of the Digital Affairs, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Process and Risk Management, Services, Translation Service and Environmental Data sections.
