Economic impact assessment of the Introduction of the «Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals» (GHS)
To investigate the impact of the GHS implementation on the Swiss economy, in particular on most affected sectors of the chemical industry, an economic impact assessment (EIA) has been conducted. The results of the EIA show that the implementation of the GHS will cause significant costs for the chemical industry, regardless whether Switzerland will adopt the GHS or not.
