Based on emission data and models of pollutant dispersion as well as chemical and physical processes in the atmosphere, the concentration of air pollutants can be calculated.
Using the PolluMap model, concentrations of the air pollutants nitrogen dioxide, soot and particulate matter PM10 and PM2.5 were calculated. The maps for the year 2015 are based on 2015 emissions, the maps for 2020 and 2030 are based on emission scenarios from the IIR2019 report.
