New nonroad mobile machinery must comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 (stage V). The list will no longer be updated. All particle filter systems with a certificate of conformity valid on the cut-off date of 31.12.2019 may be installed without restriction on machinery. This applies in particular to construction machinery with transitional engines in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 as well as machinery already placed on the market in Switzerland before stage V came into force.

Particle filters with expired certificate of conformity (PDF, 812 kB, 12.09.2016)The certificates of conformity for these filter systems are expired. This means that these filter families may no longer be installed for use on construction sites. Filters belonging to these families which were installed prior to the expiration of the certificate of conformity may continue to be used.
