The World Resources Forum (WRF) will take place in Davos from 11 to 14 October 2015. It is entitled “Boosting Resource Productivity by Adopting the Circular Economy” and explains how the circular economy can stimulate resource productivity. 15.05.2012 - The increasing global pressure on natural resources is clearly incompatible with the finite nature of our planet. We Swiss are also guilty of overexploiting the natural resources that sustain our lives. Hence we need to develop more environmentally friendly patterns of production and consumption. In other words, we need a kind of new industrial revolution. The green economy is one of the focal topics on the agenda of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) in June.
